No of course it's not. Who would want such a thing, especially if you've got kids. But if you're inclined, this 18-carat crapper is worth $200,000 and is on display at the World Toilet Summit on China's Hainan Island. We wonder if its future owner would still call it a "horse bucket", or Ma Tong, a Mandarin term for toilet. As utterly ridiculous as it is, it's still nothing when it comes to flaunting one's wealth with an ostentatious bog. The world record, according to website the Shanghaiist, goes to a $29 million gold bathroom, which has gold bars embedded in its floor. Needless to say, it is in Hong Kong, where people can't stand flaunting their wealth. And gosh darn, that reminds me - November 19 was World Toilet Day! Clean missed it. Just trying to remember if I went to the toilet that day so I can claim to have marked the occasion.
